  • Cursor Tracking Problem

With cursor tracking enabled the cursor location on weekly charts doesn't line up with the correct pricebar except for Fridays. That assumes the cursor is located in either an intraday or daily chart.

That's inconsistent with how it works everywhere else.

    Confirmed Bug, except...

    xygeek,

I have confirmed that when moving across a Weekly chart with the Cursor Tracking crosshairs, that intraday charts are not properly falling on the last period of time for that week. For example, if I highlight the QQQ weekly bar for 2/8 - 2/14 the intraday chart should be highlighting the 2/14, 16:45 bar on a 15 minute chart, but is instead highlighting the 2/13, 16:45 bar.

Thank you for catching this, and reporting it to us. I will pass this along to our QA Team for further investigation and documentation.

I was unable to duplicate this problem when looking at a daily chart and moving across a weekly . This seems to only be happening with intraday charts.

    Thanks again,
    Jay F.

Hi Jay, Thanks for taking care of this. Here’s a summary that should be helpful.

Cursor in intraday chart = wrong bar in weekly chart. (except on Fridays)

Cursor in daily chart = wrong bar in intraday chart.
Cursor in daily chart = wrong bar in weekly chart (except on Fridays)
Cursor in daily chart = wrong bar in monthly chart.

Cursor in weekly chart = wrong bar in intraday chart.
Cursor in weekly chart = wrong bar in daily chart. (except on Fridays)
Cursor in weekly chart = wrong bar in monthly chart. (except when the weekly date matches the end of month date)

For an easier grasp of this issue placing the cursor in a daily chart indexes the wrong bar in a monthly chart.

Weekly charts are another good place to begin sorting this out. Place the cursor in a daily chart and the weekly chart is incorrectly indexed to bar(-1) everyday of the week except Friday.

I know the complexity increases with the other timeframes involved but it’s likely that a cookie cutter effect will resolve them too once the more obvious cases are debugged.

              Dispappering Horzontal hair Cursor

              Dion or Jay

I'v already reported this strange event. Suddendly my horizontal hair cursor disappear togheter with the l time indications in the low zone of the screen.

Before was limited to just one central screen. From yestreday has happened to all the 3 screen windows.
Solution is replicate the windows, reload the Style template, cancel the old windows and ol ffine.

The strange fact -or maybe the solution - is that this happen Only on one particular page.
In the same page since yestreday I cannot Remove a dsisapperaed plotting of cci-2 EFS. Means I have to reolad From the Formulas cartel menu.
