hi all;

sounds that I have a great problem using dde in excel;
values display correctly, but I can't do any calculation with them! each time I get the result #Value as if the source cell was not recognized as a number, even if I change the property cell;

SYMBOL Last Change
ES H3 838.000000000000 -0.750000000000


for example(just for example ) trying to have Last+Change ...= #VALUE

This is a tough one.

Check if your international settings (Excel: Tools, Options, Tab 'International'. I have:

- Decimal separator: .
- Thousands separator: ,
- Use system separators is checked


These settings correspond with my Windows XP settings. Regional options ae set to 'English (United States)'.
