Sound Alerts

AS I am using the system more and more I find that I am setting up several alerts for different reasons. Would it be possible to set up different alert sounds for different conditions rather than just the one in the Alert Preferences. i.e:

One sound for news, one for alert etc?

or a system default as we have now but you can change each alert item with an individual setting as you create the alert?

Currently you can't have a different sound for each alerts. However I do like the idea, and I am already planning on putting that functionality in. I don't have an eta, but I'm looking to get it in, within the next couple of updates.
