    Expression Shortcuts
Instead of typing lengthy expressions into quote boards every time you wish to use them, you can create and save the expression using the Expression Shortcuts function. This shortcut allows you to save the expression, then insert it using the shortcut name onto a quote.

In addition, Expression Shortcuts are fully dynamic — if you change the expression in the Expression Shortcuts dialog box, the new expression is automatically applied to every instance in your workspace that uses the shortcut name.

To create an expression shortcut name:

1)From the Preferences menu, select Expression Shortcuts.
2)Click the Add button to add a new expression shortcut.
3)In the Name field, enter a shortcut name that will be used to identify this expression substitution.
Note: The Name field cannot contain any spaces.
4)In the Expression field, enter the expression syntax.
5)Click OK to save the expression shortcut.
6)Click OK to close the dialog box.

We recommend going to Help>FutureSource Workstation Help.

Under the "Studies and Quotes" section you will find the "Expression Shortcuts" topic. This should help you understand the syntax used to create shortcuts also. If you need further assistance you can call 800-678-6333 option #1.

    Thank You,

        OK,
In order to type a spread of any kind you will need to start with the '=' sign and then the expression. Each symbol must be incapsulated within single quotes in order to work. In your case you would type the following:

        ='6E z6'-'6S Z6'

        and

        ='GC Z6'/'ZI Z6'

Also, please note the spaces between the symbols.

        Thank You,

          Yes, this is it
          THANKS!!!
I understand that workstation does not provide candlestick chart
for spreads like that ,only line chart.(e-signal premium does!)
          is it correct?
          May will it be changed?
