  • Doesn'T work this morning... again

    This morning, I am getting the message that you would get just after suscribing to livecharts... telling me to wait 45 minutes, because of the delay of a new member... bla bla... and livecharts does not work...

    Could someone tell livechart computer that I have been a member for 2 years now...

    System down again, had that problem two weeks ago...

    Hope it will be fixed soon, we are in the ending week for the options...

    Yep.....looks like exactly the same problem reported on morning of Monday, February 26th. They did get it fixed by maket open.

    These kind of problems have been around for over a decade. Sad that paying subscribers have to keep enduring the same problems over and over and over and over and over and over again. However, I've wanted to give eSignal a chance to look at all the problems endured by customers and work to resolve them. So far, nada.

    Trust me eSignal....the product and support needs significant work. I've been around since the mid-90's and between the morning outages, Java bugs, reconnects, data errors, and the lack of interest shown in improving/fixing the product, it's been a far less than great experience. And, you're hearing that from an Internet Network and Systems Enginneer that knows better.

        Same here! This is identical to Feb. 26 pre-market. Some of us trade pre-market and depend on LiveCharts for real-time quotes!

          Don't you just love this suggestion with the error.....

          If you continue receiving this message after 45 minutes, view the help pages.

          And, you click on the "help pages" and get an HTTP Error 404.

            Not working since last night

            Live charts is not working since last night, with the error cited below.

            Any ETA for a fix on this? Right now its effectively down and I cannot get any quotes at all, and as others pointed out this is option expiry week.

            Although the error message says you are getting delayed quotes in fact we are getting NO quotes. The chart will not connect. This has been the case since yesterday evening.

              I'm up...........

              Thank you Tech Support. Now PLEASE pay attention to my suggestion that there needs to be a major product improvement effort.

                  Whatever. Probably should have reported it last night but I wasn't trading the futures.

                    Thanks all for the feedback. With QCharts 6.0 nearing completion, we have begun working on significant LiveCharts upgrades both in reliability and functionality. We hope to have a beta up and running for LiveCharts subscribers within 3 months time, so we can begin to get your feedback on where we are headed with the product.

                      Same thing this morning, Friday 16th.

                      Again and again...

                      Same deal, twice this week now... This morning, can not open livecharts, yes, I did sign-up for real-time data successfully, but the chart below currently shows delayed quotes. bla bla...

                      Almost 90% of market moves are prepared during pre-market..... and thank's again to livecharts, I can not analyze anything...

                      PLUS, TODAY IS EXPIRATION DAY FOR ALMOST ALL OPTIONS...

                        Note to JayF. Happy to hear that improvements are coming. 1st Priorty....someone to check product is working at 5 AM ET and that last nights/weekends changes haven't left subscribers with non-functioning product. There is absolutley NO EXCUSE for repeat outages of this type in a Quality Operation.

                        If I were in charge, someone's head would get the CHOP this morning.

                          And, while someone is fixing this mornings problems.....

                          Server lc-rt.sc8.finance.lycos.com habitually asks for a password. Not sure if it's the only one, but it's one that's doing it this morning.

                          OK.....I'll lighten-up. Coffee is helping.
