For the past several days, it seems as though there are many discrepancies between the data that I see in Livecharts, and what I see from other sources. On some lower volume symbols, it can be the actual last trade price, but in most cases, waht I notice is the volume.
Here are some examples from today, comparing numbers from Livecharts and Fidelity:
QQQQ - Livecharts - 80,804,000 Fid - 111,135,000
MGRM - Livecharts - 133,877 Fid - 590,183
F - Livecharts - 5,764,500 Fid - 18,494,400
Obviously, these are HUGE differences, and if I look at intraday charts on Fidelity, all of the numbers seem to be accounted for. In fact, MGRM showed a 5 minute period shortly before 11:00 Eastern with almost 150,000 shares traded.
Any ideas as to what might account for the difference?
Bob
