  • What is QC:TICK exactly

I really like QC:TICK as a short term market indicator. Can you guys explain exactly what it is? Is it a combination of some of the indexes?
    Thanks

The TICK indicator is the cumulative tick count of all U.S. Stocks. That is, it's the number of all stocks trading on upticks minus number os stocks trading on down ticks.

        Peter,
In LiveCharts, you can enter $TICK and chart it.
        Is that what you're after?

A slight correction. TICK is only for stocks traded on the exchange reporting it.

          $TICK is for the NYSE
          $TICKQ is for Nasdaq

I think there is one for American too.
