  • 100% CPU use

    Is the guy with the 100% Cpu use still having the same problem? Maybe I can help him as I have had the same problem a month ago and it was not LiveChart related.

      In my case it was Ad-Aware the free edition. In the paid edition they have a file called aawservice.exe that starts calling out first thing after boot-up and connects to their server. In the free edition you are not allowed access to their server and the file keeps trying, overwhelming your CPU. As stupidity knows no boundaries they forgot to take the file out in the free edition.
      Now do this:In case you want to keep using Ad-Aware.

      Hit "Controle panel"....Administrative Tools.....Services....
      AD-Aware 2007 Services.....Change Start-up type to :"Manual".
      and Boot-Up
      In my case it was: End of problem.
      Now if you re using AA again you better bootup afterwards.
      The other solution is "Remove it from your system"as I did.

          this was not associated with my problem of 100% cpu usage ... i dont run AdAware ... the bug fix that eSignal guys put in a few days ago seems to have solved my locking up (100% cpu) usage problem
