The "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Java heap space" error is triggered whenever the java virtual machine runs out of available memory during processing.

Please launch your windows Control Panel (Start/Settings/Control Pannel)

Then run the "Java" option, to launch the Java Control Panel.



Next, Click the <Settings> button under the heading of "Temporary InterNET Files"



Please check the "Unlimited" radio button for the section titled, "Amount of disk space to use"

It has always been set to unlimited, i still get the errors, even more so recently, only recourse is to quit the browser

Java is J2SE5.0, is that compatible ? I can fallback to J2SE 1.4.2

using seamonkey 1.1.9 on a G5 Powerbook


also why is it that esignalcentral.com forums keep requiring that i login over and over and over and .... ???

With regards to the forum login issue click USER CP in the Forum menu then select Edit Options in the Control Panel menu and check that both the options shown below are set to yes.

Regarding your Java out of memory error:
I do not have access to a MAC system, so I am not able to test with your setup. Perhaps, you can try upgrading to the latest SUN Java enhancement: http://java.com
