  • Totally dead this morning?

This morning I go to the login screen, enter the information, and click submit ... and there it sits. The Livecharts window never appears, and it does not advance to the screen that gives me a place to click if the window does not open. Does this mean that everything is dead from the server end?

We've reported this to engineering, they're currently investigating login issues with Quote.com/LiveCharts

Problem reading portfolios - Error occurred in communications with portfolio server!

I got that same error with IE, so I did the obligatory remove all cookies and temp files ... made no difference, got the same thing again, and then IE locked up. I finally got in using Opera, and it found the portfolios just fine ... an hour after the market opened.

Engineering is still working on this issue. It apparently is affecting servers at one location but not another, which is probably why some attempts may work, while others may not.

Just heard from engineering and all servers should be up and accepting client logins now.

I'm up and going OK from N.C.
Good on www.quote.com and LiveCharts login from there.
                      Good on login.livecharts.com

                      Are you still down?

I've sent this to our operations deptment to investigate.

I'm able to get to the Quote.com website on multiple computers (through multiple networks). On one connection I saw a 500 servlet exception when trying to click on LiveCharts from Quote.com, but I couldn't get that to come up again after clearing cache/cookies.

                        Could you try clearing cache/cookies?

I haven't received another report of problems accessing LiveCharts/Quote.com this morning. No reports via the phone queue.

Is anyone else having this problem?

i got in a few minutes after posting

was trying to get in prior for about 10 minutes and couldnt

if there are multiple servers out there i suppose i could have been trying to get into a downed one but then i have no way to try another server other than whatever one the routers send me to

                            working now

                              ZB U8 awol

had no problems getting in this morning prior to the open (09:30 ET) on the following server

                              Server Name = LC-H-04
                              Server URL = lc-h-04.esignal.com

but the "wait time" switching between time frames & symbols was unusually slow, way beyond acceptable use

logged out & back in again and connected thru

                              Server Name = LC-H-05
                              Server URL = lc-h-05.esignal.com

this seemed to cure the "wait time" problem. but on this server
                              ZB U8
                              ZC N8
                              ZS N8
                              ZW N8
will not plot, it keeps trying but the names do not appear, the charts are empty and the detailed quotes are blank . . . . the YM U8 contract plots coming from the same exchange/platform

will not log out & back in again today, just take what i can get

                              please advise
