I'm not sure what is causing this but some client feedback has indicated that clearing cookies/cache re-launching the browser and/or updating java has gotten them past this error.

If that doesn't work, maybe try clearing DNS?
Go to Start, then run, and enter ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter and relaunch the browser.

I have been able to login.. but I done have "time & sales" .. nor "detailed quote".. working..

I guess the little holiday you guy took.. was to much.. the charts worked ok during that period.. now.. I guess your're all back.. and playing around with it.. and so we're back to the old way again..

Why would I have to clean cookies, cashes, flush the DNS (whatever that is).. in order to have the charts working.. never had to do this with the old LC.. AND I HAVE TO PAID TWICE THE PRICE.. AND TWICE THE HEADACHES..

        WHY..

          trademars,

The 500 Servlet Exception error is currently being investigated by engineering.

The suggestion to delete cookies was provided as a workaround that seemed to have worked for clients.

The other suggestions were because it was indicated that after you cleared cache/cookies, you were still unable to log in, so I was merely suggesting other things that may help.

With respect to not getting T&S or detailed quote data. Would you be able to indicate the LiveCharts server you are connected to (click Tools, Sun Java Console). The server would be something like LC-H-06. This would help operations with which data servers to check.

It's somewhat a little late to request the server number..

By following your advise.. I've had to reset all my password to my other programs.. and some reason.. most of them did not want to cooperate.. so I am not to please with your advise..

More waited time.. when is it going to stop..

some quirky problems crop up at times but so far Livecharts is fine by me - i do appreciate the product !

somewhere along the line they even managed to clear up their java garbage collection issues as LiveCharts doesnt seem to consume heap space that like it once did

The underlying cause of the 500 Servlet Exception was identified and corrected to prevent new incidents.

If anyone is still generating this error, it appears clearing cookies should resolve this problem.
