We have been and continue to work hard on MarketCenter to address a variety of different issues mentioned on this board and received into our Technical Support Center. Earlier in the week, we upgraded MarketCenter to include the following changes.
- Fixed the minimized-chart bug. Under certain conditions, the MarketCenter chart window used to come up minimized.
- Fixed small bug in dynamically building bars from quotes.
- The "FOREX charts being cut off" bug has been fixed. It wasn't because of FOREX. It has to do with symbols that trade at a low price (like, close to 1, which includes some of those FOREX symbols). Also, a bigger blank-gap was added at the top & bottom of the chart.
- The futures prices bug has been fixed. Sometimes a price would show up like 2034N instead of just 2034.
-Fixed that bug in the Settings dialog box, where sometimes you'd see duplicates of the color schemes. The problem happened every time a user re-logged in to the MC applet without shutting down the browser, and another copy of the color schemes was added to the dialog box.
- Decreased the time interval for saving portfolios from 3 minutes to 10 seconds. So, just like the chart, the portfolio will be saved within 10 seconds after a change is made to it. If no changes are made to the portfolio, nothing is saved. As a quick aside on this, switching portfolio's will force the previous portfolio to be saved.
- Fixed the flatline-studies problem when streaming chart is left running. Part of the bug fix is a change of behavior - all studies are now recalculated on each tick, rather than when a new bar is created. This automatically fixes the flatline-problems with studies like Acc/Dist. However, four other studies had to be recoded to allow them to be recalculated on every tick.
