Are there any plans to upgrade the Market center charts?

I know the service is cheap but the charts.......

While we don't have any near-term plans for enhancing the MarketCenter charts, it's very likely we will revisit them sometime next year. We would appreciate any details feedback or suggestions you have, so our Development Team can take that into consideration when preparing for future updates.

how about making eSignal "standard" charts available ?

Hi Sonny11,

That's a good thought but MarketCenter is a java browser-based product while eSignal is a windows-platform app. Not much in common between the two in terms of coding to take advantage of. In case you aren't aware, we market eSignal Basic as our low-end eSignal service and Standard Charts is included in that offering. Goes as low as $49/mo pre-paid.

Charts - Need Improvement

Well I just started a one month trial of MarketCenter to see if it is suitable as a backup realtime charting program. Here are my comments.

1) The bar charts are in color (green\red) while the candlestick charts are in black and white. I would prefer just the opposite. Can't see where to modify these colors, only indicator colors.
2) Can't turn on any grid lines.
3) Can't turn off the bottom indicator area to expand the chart area.
4) Can't compress the time scale, in order to display an entire trading day on a one minute chart. This is essential.
5) Can't scroll backwards to see earlier in the day.
6) Would like the Parabolic SAR indicator added.
7) Drawing lines and text would also be nice.
8) How about a save feature (.jpg or .png).

If any of these are available now, will an eSignal moderator please respond?

Thank you for your comments. Currently, none of the features you mentioned are available in MarketCenter, however they are available in our eSignal Advanced Charts. For more information on eSignal, please visit http://www.esignal.com/esignal/default.asp .

As a less expensive alternative, there's a new third party application out called Tahoe Charts that has most if not all the features you're looking for, and works with the eSignal data. You can find more information about that product at http://www.tahoecharts.com
