5.1.0.14 or 5.1.0.17?

While performing the check for updates function, my qcharts dropped me into the download directory. I am running 5.1.0.14, which shows as being posted in 2005. There also is a 5.1.0.17 in the download directory and it was posted in 2006. Which version of qcharts should I be running, .14 or .17?

The current release version of QCharts 5.1 is 5.1.0.14. The .17 version was a build created to fix two minor bugs but was not fully released. Here's the release notes for that version.

Build 5.1.0.17 -- January 5, 2006

Fixed a problem with stalled data updating after switching servers and a problem with daily bar display for new symbols on the first trading day.

If you experience any of the above symptoms with .14, then feel free to try out .17, but generally speaking this download isn't necessary.
