Not receiving SOX Index quotes, has the index symbol changed ?

SOX Index

There's an issue with the Philly exchange index symbols. SOX, XAU, etc. Looks like they changed the feed on their end with little notice. Other vendors like Yahoo, BigCharts, my Broker, even the vendor that provides quotes/charts for the Philly site are kaput regarding these syms. Don't know when things will get sorted out. There's another thread from today...missing data...where support responded regarding this.

fwiw, I don't watch those Indexes anyhow, rather I track (and trade) the ETF's. On the off-chace you may be unaware...

For semi's.... SMH
for Oil....... OIH(oil services) and/or XLE(services and integrated)
for Gold....GLD

I agree. While I like to watch the SOX, two very good etf's to follow the semis are SMH and PSI, although PSI is a little thin.
