msvcrt.dll causing QCharts to shut down

I'm having trouble keeping QCharts open because of msvcrt.dll. I searched the yahoo group messages but didn't find a solution to this issue. I'm using QFAI and following the setup instructions I've seen on the yahoo group. This is happening on 2 different computers running XP.

The error message is:
AppName: qcharts.exe
AppVer: 5.1.0.14
ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180
Offset: 0001a629

Can someone give me suggestions to clear up this issue?
