Campaign to Stop Using Yahoo Qcharts Group

As a relatively new Qcharts user who cannot get approval to post on the Yahoo Qcharts group (although I am a group member), I would like to urge all Yahoo group members who post both in the Yahoo group and in this forum to use this forum for all your Qcharts message posting. You might also want to encourage other message posters over at the Yahoo group to move over to this forum for posting.

It's rather frustrating to see all the great posts over at the Yahoo group and never be able to respond to any of them. I feel certain that I am not the only Qcharts user who would like to be able to correspond with all the folks over at the Yahoo group. It would be really nice to have everybody posting in the same place with everyone able to communicate.

Comments? Reasons why it's a bad idea or won't work?

We agree. It's an excellent idea to consolidate all QCharts related posts in the eSignal forums. Our forums are actively moderated by support specialists in various eSignal products, including QCharts.

I like the Yahoo forum better because it comes across on Outlook in a much more readable fashion. These eSignal posts come across in a fixed font and I cannot tell from the address who posted the message. They all appear to be from [email protected] so I cannot sort on the sender's name when I am looking for someone's posts. I do this a lot. It works great on Yahoo Groups but not at all here. The eSignal web version is nice as long as you know where to look, but the Yahoo one is ok too.

I monitor both of them, but I do think Yahoo has implemented a more user-friendly email system (or more accurately, "inherited" the system from eGroups). I didn't know the moderator had to approve posts. I thought it was an open forum. Maybe another word to the admin of the Yahoo group would correct the posting problem.
