  • "All sessions" doesn't work on stocks?

    I'm running QCharts 5.1 version 5.1.0.19
and only have real-time Nasdaq stocks enabled.

When I check the "All Sessions" check box, the charts don't change at all. I want to look at pre-market price changes on the charts and the "All Sessions" should do the trick but it doesn't.

    Any suggestions anyone?
    Thanks in advance,

    Walter

It sounds like either QCharts isn't handling the MktHours correctly, or there's an error in the MktHours file. Check to make sure you aren't using a MktHours.unf that is not setup correctly for NASDAQ (Help --> View QCharts Directory, delete or rename any MktHours.unf). If you don't see a .unf, then just delete the MktHours you do see, and restart QCharts to get a new copy of that file.

Also, could you clarify what interval chart(s) are you looking at?

      Figured it out

      Hi,

      Thanks for your help.

I figured out what the problem was.
Apparently, the "All Sessions" doesn't work when the Interval button on the chart is locked (red). It's kind of funny because it doesn't have anything to do with the interval itself but ok, I got it going.

      Thanks again,

      Walter
