Daily Charts

1) Think this is a known issue but the daily chart on Globex does not start at 16:30 EST..but is showing a candle with current date but price data as of 16:30. i.e. on Feb 6th at 20:00 the last bar is showing with 2/6 instead of 2/7 but price is reflecting as of 16:30 on 2/6

2) Decimal points are showing with 4 spaces and this cannot be changed through the preference window. Very difficult to use cursor tracking as the price follows the cursor but does not exist in a tradable format.

3) What is bar LX? It shows up in the data window and sometimes tracks the same as bar# and sometimes not.

Hi Kate,

Regarding #1, this is a known issue and is also occurring on the eSignal software. This is a result of a shortcoming in the eSignal history servers (they provide Daily, Weekly, Monthly bars,) and this is on the eSignal list of items to address.

On #2, this is on the QCharts list. Improving the price formatting is something we still need to take care of and includes 4-decimal issue on equity futures, and fractional formats on grains and bond futures.

On #3, Bar Ix is Bar Index. This is representive of where the bar is in relation to the most current bar. For example, if you are on the bar that's 20 bars away from the front-most bar, then you will be showing -20. The reason # Bars can be different is because you can reset # Bars to zero, when you left-click on a chart (this also resets the Csr %, which displays the price percentage from the last left-click.)
