  • Find a stock's index

    Greetings.

How within QCharts (I'm using the 6 Beta) can I determine a stock's index from it's symbol?

Example - if I'd like to trade RIMM and didn't know what index it participated in, how could I determine it's index?

According to the knowledge base, I should be able to insert a field 'Sector Name' in my quote sheet which sounds promising, however I don't see that option available when I select 'Insert' from a quote sheet.

    Thanks all.

    Peace.

    Index

QCharts 5.x has the Sector Column but it is not in the 6.o Beta.

        Thanks Ed!

Jay - any chance that this feature could be restored in the next beta?

        Peace.

We are planning to have the Sector Name field back in QCharts for 6.1, but at this point, it won't be ready in time for QCharts 6.0.

Features not available in QCHARTS 6.0

Is it possible to know the list of all the features and symbols available in Qcharts 5.1 and NOT available in QCharts 6.0.
            Thank you in advance

This article does a pretty good job at listing what you are looking for.
