  • QCharts 6.0.1.2 -- Maintenance Release, Revision 2

As of last evening, QCharts 6.0 has been released, and is now available for download from the QCharts Download Page. You may also add any of the new international exchanges, forex data or add more symbols to your account by visiting Account Maintenance.

    QCharts 6.0 Features
    - Real-time, streaming quotes and historical data from eSignal
    - Use of eSignal's reliable and accurate data network
    - Stocks and futures direct from 100+ international exchanges
    - Forex data with individual or composite quotes from 200+ contributors
    - Complete NASDAQ Level II Book, including ECNs and other non-participants
    - More put / call option statistics (20+, up from 2)
    - Up to five times more options data from eSignal's optimized data network
    - Automatic corrections and trade insertions direct from U.S. exchanges
    - Exchange-based time stamps from U.S. exchanges
    - Server network that manages connections automatically for you

Thank you to all the beta testers who worked hard on providing us feedback on the 6.0 version.

We have already begun working on QCharts 6.1, and are excited to finish the transition to the eSignal network. We'll be extending the intraday bar data, creating Hot Lists and Breadthalizer stats through the eSignal network, and will be offering a whole new suite of market depth possibilities (among other things as well.)

Because of the new release, we will be temporarily closing the QCharts Beta forum; this will be reopened when the next beta testing cycle begins later this fall.
    Regards,
    Jay F.

    QCharts 6.0.1.1 -- Maintenance Release

Please note: This is not a new post, but a copy of an earlier post for historical purposes.

    Greetings QCharts Community,

We've spent the last month working on the issues reported into our Technical Support Department regarding QCharts 6.0. We are to the point where we have a large grouping of improvements for QCharts 6.0, and will be posting a "maintenance release" to the download page early next week.

We wanted to give the QCharts community here at eSignal Central the first opportunity to get these latest updates. If you'd like to download the latest version of QCharts 6.0, please click the link below.

Below is a list of some of the improvements in this version:

    - Divider, Total and Sub-total rows are now being loaded correctly
    - Improvements to stability and overall responsiveness (we'll continue to work on further improvements in this area for QCharts 6.1)
    - Cursor Data Window (CDW) will no longer disappear upon the reload of a workspace that had a CDW placed outside of the chart border
    - Bond futures are now formatted correctly
    - Hot List Windows no longer count towards your symbol count; please note that Quote Sheet-based Hot Lists still count as they are making real-time subscriptions.
    - Fibonacci Time Tool is once again enabled for all QCharts users.
    - Daily Charts on option symbols are now available.
    - Future Option titles now correctly reflect the Put/Call option type
    - Cleardown preferences are now being saved correctly upon exiting QCharts
    - Fixed a rare problem where blank charts could occur when coming back to a symbol that was accessed previously.
    - Fixed a rare problem where symbols could sometimes get confused with other symbols when a large workspace is loaded.
    Regards,
    Jay F.

      6.0.1.2 -- Maintenance Release, Revision 2

We had a handful of important fixes that we felt needed to be released prior to QCharts 6.1, and thus have created a follow-up to our recent 6.0.1.1 build. We encourage all QCharts 6.0 users to upgrade to this version in order to receive these additional enhancements.

      Release Notes
      - Forex symbols are now correctly updating on charts and the Last field is updating on the Quote Sheet.
      - A new field called Last/ExtHours has been added to the Quote Sheets and Snapshot Bar. This field updates with Extended Hours trades (formally known as FormT). The actual Last field no longer updates with pre/post-market trades.
      - Extended Hours trades are now updating charts that have the Tick interval.
      - Daily Charts no longer update based on Extended Hours trades
      - Enhancements have been made to the eSignal Data Manager to improve various performance related tasks.

This new version can be downloaded by visiting the QCharts Download Page.

      Jay F.
