Caching

Hi, is there a way to increase the amount of caching of bars that ver 6 does? In the previous version I could scroll through a lot more symbols without having to request the complete data for them while now the cache gets filled and cleared a lot faster.

I tried setting the relevant option in the Preferences to either 0 - use as much as needed, or 100Mb which is the field's limit but neither worked satisfactorily.

With the slowness of data as it is it's making life very very difficult.

Is anyone from eSignal reading this forum?

Would be nice to get someone to respond to this post and explain if/what has been changed in the caching of symbols in the new eSignal made 6.0 version. And whether anything can / will be done about this.

We'll investigate the caching issue further. It does seem based on your report that caching isn't working properly in 6.0. We'll take a look and add it to our list of items for QCharts 6.1.
