Saving Workspaces

Just checking to see if this is normal: If I so much as resize a quote sheet and then exit a workspace, it will prompt me to ask if I want to save the workspace before exiting, as I have in my default. Yet if I draw horizontal lines over many charts but make no other changes, when I hit exit it does so without prompting me to save the workspace. Is that normal?

My experience with both 5.1 & 6.0 is that I am always prompted to Save when closing the Workspace - if I have touched anything to cause a change within the Workspace.
