NDX.X to NDXX is causing PROBLEMS!

My trading logs and actually my whole system uses NDX.X charts. I had the same problem migrating workspaces to 6.0, reloaded 5.1 to get around this, and now with the NDX.X to NDXX change, the problem has chased me back to 5.1. I have tons of historical notes collected over the years! The other option is probably about 2-3 months of painstaking data transfer to recreate the accumulated data on the new charts.
Anybody know how to migrate lines & symbols with the data?
