Recovering quote files

I accidentally hit the X on one of my quote files and then in trying to recover it accidentally saved the workspace. I hate the way QCharts has no undo function. Is there any way to recover a quote file once you've hit the X that closes the file?

In your QCharts directory, in the Workspace folder, there should be a copy of the workspace as it was before the most recent save of the workspace. Look for WorkspaceFilename.qcw-bak. Rename it to WorkspaceFilename.qcw .

Thanks. I figured that was a backup but couldn't figure how to get it open. Thanks.

Still, if I hadn't saved in a couple of hours , I've lost the work I'd done until then.

Still would like an undo function, but thanks for the work around.
