Hello,
As noted in previous thread due to horrible performance problems, I built a new PC and tried a clean install of the latest 6.x. Install went fine, did a reboot, but when qCharts tries to start it just sits at "connecting to eSignal" and never progresses beyond that point. DomTick, IntlTick and Hist are all green, but everything else is red. I can't open any workspaces, etc.
(update: I've noticed that Pwd and DM are red, then briefly green before going red again at startup.)
I tried installing 5.1 at that point, which works fine.
Both installs were done as Admin.
Since this is a fresh install on a fresh OS install (win2k sp4, latest patches) I'm wondering if there's something else 6.x depends upon... like java, etc. which hasn't been installed yet on my new machine.
(update: uninstalled both 5.1 and 6.0.1.2... reinstalled 6.0.1.2... same results... still doesn't work.)
