login problems...please stand by

for some reason, 6.0 won't finish logging in or something isn't loading up right. i keep getting a little window that says: please stand by, and it stays there as long as i want to sit and look at it. its been working fine until today. anyone else had this problem?

I highly suspect that you are inadvertantly trying to log onto a server which is refusing to allow logon. If you are not using QFAI you should be. You can download the QFAI Installer from:

http://www.qcsoftwarehelp.com/

Once installed, Select "Quick Select" from the menu and "Select All" servers and "AutoUpdateServerList=TRUE" per the following image.

i use QFAI with 5.1. i was under the impression that QFAI could not be used with 6.0

Yes, QFAI will still currently work with QC 6.0 since the current version of QC 6.0 still uses the QC 5.1 Continuum datafeed for some of the data and that is probably what is hanging you up.
