After I checked for Q-charts updates for 6.0.1.2 yesterday, I now get this message:

    and can't get any charts.
    Somebody know what to do?

    Thanks in advance,

    Janny

Perhaps i should add that i E-mailed Support already on Tuesday. Haven't heard from them yet.
I've used Q-charts for over 7 years now and beside the occasional small glitch i haven't had problems using it.
I don't like to call as my spoken English is worse than my written!
So i really hope somebody can help me out here because I'm really stuck at the moment.

Jay and Mike, there's a note at the bottom of this post for Y'all.

Janny asked me to do the follow up on the resolution to the bug.
As background, she had to do a reformat of hard drive.
So the QCharts 6.0.1.2 Install was new, a first time install of QC 6.0.

        Here's what was happening...

        At Welcome to QCharts...

Username and Password was entered, Start to Blank Workspace ON, click Connect.

In Janny's case, a second panel was presented, namely "Log On to Continuum"...

After entering Username and Password, click Connect, this Error panel would appear...

After clicking OK, QCharts would terminate.

        The fix...

When the Welcome to QCharts 6.0 panel appears, press F2.
This Logon Options panel will appear...

In Janny's case, the Circled-in-Red option was turned OFF.

The fix was to turn ON "Assume...feeds require same logons" option.

fwiw, 6.0.1.2 works for me whether the "Assume...feeds require same logons" option is ON or OFF.
But in my case with the option OFF, I get a somewhat different "Log On to Continuum" panel.
Notice my panel does Not have the "On Connect" section with Open Last or Start with Blank workspaces options.
        Here's what I see with my 6.0.1.2 ...

Jay and Mike, I dunno whazzup with the difference in my experience of 6.0.1.2 and Janny's, why she gets a somewhat different "Log On to Continuum" panel. I just know that by turning ON the Logon Option..."Assume...feeds require same logons"... Janny is up and running with 6.0.1.2 now. Also, I thought "Assume...feeds require same logons" was supposed to be turned ON by default on a new Install. Janny's was a virgin install, no previous installs of 6.0, so no previous registry entries were in place. In her case, it initialized OFF.

          Jay, Mike, Larry -

FWIW - here's what my Log On panels give me with/without "Assume eSignal and Continuum feeds require the same logons."

An additional comment - This pic shows 6.0.1.10 - after making the post, I downloaded/ran 6.0.1.11. Taking a check with my first Log On, the "Assume eSignal..." box IS checked as the default.

          fyi,
          Carol
