In Jay's recent announcemnt he mentions:
"Technical Note: The default installation path for QCharts 6.0.2 is a separate directory from 5.1, effectively leaving 5.1 intact. You can run either, or both concurrently if you have enough CPU and memory to do so."
I seem to remember that there was a previous note that for those using qcharts data servers to run other 3rd party software it was best to keep on QC5 and not install QC6 on the same computer. Have I misunderstood that advice?
