    Jay,
    Would you please provide us with an update as to when the servers from both Miami & Santa Clara will be put back in service in Hayward.

    My updated QFAI shows 20 servers, however ctrl+alt+n indicates only 16. In either case - QC5.1 for the past couple of weeks has continued to slow to a crawl and is now just about as slow as 6.0. I have even built a very, very smal workspace with only two charts (240 & 60-min) and a Quote sheet - but the charts - even after hours - are taking 10-15 seconds to fill. It is taking me 5 hours to do 1 hour's worth of review.

    Did anyone ever answer this question?

    QC 5.1 is now almost as painful as 6.0

      Hi Carol / Jim,

      I'm currently showing 21 servers available in the Ctrl-Alt-N list when not running QFAI and the AutoUpdate=True.

      I'm not aware of any load issues on these machines in recent days that would cause these delays, but I'll have some of the network team dig deeper on this.

      Generally speaking all the Continuum infrastructure that was scheduled to be moved over has already been moved over. If we are seeing capacity issues, we'll see what can be done to alleviate it.

          Thursday 6/26

          During market hours QC5 became extremely unresponsive. This is the second time this has happened this week.

          In the status bar I see response times of 30 and 40 seconds and more. When moving between symbols data paints occur very slowly and in spurts. Sometimes taking as much as 5 minutes to fully populate for 1 symbol. Tried changing servers with no relief.

          Now this evening after hours, QC5 stopped responding altogether. I closed and relaunched the app and cannot get a logon. Tried QC6.0.3 and cannot get entitled.

          Waited an hour, now I can get logged on to QC5 and my workspace opens, the quote sheets populate but no data paints in the charts. I've been waiting about 15 minutes now and still no data.

          I can now get entitled in QC 6.0.3

          What's up guys?

            Hi Jim
            I just emailed back and forth with one of the techs out in CA and he confirmed they are having connection issues right now (06/26/08 at 8:45pm EST).
            He said engineering is on it, but it may be bumpy getting QC6 connected right now.

              Thanks for the update Bill. Interestingly QC6 is what I can connect with right now, QC5 is choking.

              Connection issues can be a bear. I've fought that fight in another life.

                          Just to confirm - I had the same problems you did with both 6.1 & 6.0 last night. Don't know when they came back as I gave up at 8:45pm.

                            It's looking like something is up with the servers last night and again this morning. You might want to check on things before you are hit with a ton of calls.

                              At 8:30, QC5.1 has been off about as much as on for the past 30 minutes or so. I've been up and down the server list and it seems to be the same regardless of server.
