Turn off real-time data during market hours for research only?

Hi,

during market hours, QCharts is getting really slow compared to non market hours.

When I just want to do some research on my charts, is there a way to turn off the real-time streaming quotes and just get, say, historical data up to yesterday or so? For research that would be enough and wouldn´t limit myself from working only out-of-markethours.

Hey Chris,

Depending on which version of QCharts you're working with you can yes stop the tick by tick data from coming into the application.

If you using QCharts 6.x you can close the Data Manager which would stop the real time data from coming into the application.

This way you can still work with the charts and different studies
