  • Question about QFAI and excluding servers

I have a question about using QFAI with QCharts 5.0.1.21.

I have excluded 4 servers from the server list (left unchecked) but everytime I start up QCharts, it still selects a server that is unchecked.

Specifically, cc14-hwd.esignal.com I find to be unreliable yet when I start QCharts it consistently uses this server

I have the server unchecked and I have selected

AutoUpdateServerList=TRUE (QFeed may update your server list)

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

      Hey Eric,

Use the "False" setting to insure non-connection to servers unchecked in the QFAI server list. A True setting can replace the initial list that you specify.

You may be having trouble with either cc14 OR cc15. The Names in a ctrl-alt-N can be bogus, and will show cc14 on status bar for either the real cc14 or cc15. So, uncheck both of them unless you have been using Netstat (or equivalent) to know the exact IP Number of what you have been connected with. Long story on the Names in a ctrl-alt-N and the IP Number to IP Name assignments, and why a Name-to-IP Number mapping can be different than a IP Number-to-Name mapping..
