  • McClellan Oscialltor

Is there anyway to create this chart? I know I can find daily postings of it elsewhere, but I want to be interactive with it.

    Ooops...

Is no one replying because I misspelled it? I just type fast and didn't proofread. Sorry, please don't punish me. The McClellan Oscillator... is there a way that I can create my own McClellan Oscillator?

      Hey Cluracan,

If I understand what it is that you're after, for QCharts there's no canned study to the best of my knowledge. And no way to create user defined studies like this for use in QCharts.

According to the write-up HERE (look for McClellan link) you could lay on a 19 EMA and 39 EMA on $ADD (NYSE Adv-Dec) or $ADDQ (NASDAQ Adv-Dec) and just notice the crossover.

I guess you could use QLink/Excel to produce and chart (in Excel) the actual oscillator as depicted in the above mentioned article.
