signal generated from chart

New to q-charts. Is it possible for the chart to signal me when some pre-defined action has taken place (ie two moving avg's crossing)?

You can right click on the symbol in a Quote Sheet or in the price action of a chart - this will provide you with a drop down menu; the first item is "Add Alert." Click it, then see the "Field" drop down arrow for a list of alerts that can be set. Unfortunately, crossing mva's are not on the list, but there may be something else of interest to you there.
