  • Wrong ZB Price Format

On August 30, CME increased the tick size of ZB(30-Year U.S. Treasury Bond Futures) from half of 1/32 to 1/32, but QCharts didn't make the change correctly. The price format of ZB was correct before the change.

For the fraction part, only the numerator should be shown, the denominator is always 32 and should not be shown. We can use ZB Z9 as an example.
    Price, Right format, Wrong format
    118 + 8/32, 118 08, 118 1/4
    118 + 10/32, 118 10, 118 5/16

ZB and ZN should have the same format except for the number of digits. The difference between ZB and ZN is the tick size: ZB is 1/32 and ZN is half of 1/32. Therefore ZN need 3 digits to show the fraction, while ZB need only 2. For example, ZN price 115 255 means 115 + 25.5/32.

    Please fix this ASAP, thanks.

I just reported this to the project manager for QCharts as the eSignal application handled the change in format differently (i.e., esignal shows '10 instead of 5/16)
