I upgraded yesterday to the 6.2 version and none of my options chains are showing any data. Keeps saying looking it up. When I pull up the options for any stock symbol, I get "no symbol found."

Here's an update. Have tried symbols off and on today. Some that weren't working are working now (PCX, WYNN, PBR) but still can't get NDX to work. I've logged in and out several times and some symbols suddenly began to work that weren't. Just wanted to let you know if that helps your troubleshooting.Karen McMahan

We are also aware of a server issue where some servers are not returning any chains at all, while others are performing normally. The exception though is index chains such as $NDX, $RUT, etc... this is suspected to be a software issue that could be addressed in a maintenance release of 6.2.Regards,

Need a fix for $NDX now, not in maintenance release

For me, $NDX is critical to my trading plan.
I have always been able to count on the Qcharts Tech group to handle the big issues quickly, and I hope this is one of those times that I can count on you to work now, immediately, on a fix.
Many thanks!

If this will help, I've taken some screencaps of some of the more popular montages and put them here:
So folks can see the tickers and enter them into their quotesheets manually. Not a perfect solution but maybe it'll help. If anyone has any requests - post back and I'll do my best to accomodate and post more JPGs of what you need.
Plus - there's a page here that might help some:

NDX
Thanks, billbled, for your suggestion.
Great idea to just type in the symbol by hand.
OEX worked great. Thanks for the screenshot.
NDX did not seem to cooperate.
It looks like the symbol would be:
O:NDX 10B1800.00
for the NDX 2010 Feb 1800 Call.
But when I type it in, nothing fills in.
Maybe I'm not doing something quite right?

Hey,
$NDX montage is now posted.
I'm showing the 1800 call to be:
O:NDY 10B1800.00 in the screencap.
Hope that helps.
If anyone else wants to see other montages - just let me know.Last edited by billbled; 02-03-2010, 10:15 AM.
