    Is the syntax for Overlay Expressions documented anywhere?

    One example of what I'm trying to accomplish is to create an "advance decline line".

    Is there a way to create a running total using Overlay Expressions?

    There are adv-dec numbers in the Continuum -QC Breadthalizers as I'm sure you are aware.
    And a certain amount available from the eSignal feed...

    Regarding a breadth adv-dec that's cumulative day-to-day, i.e. today's value is added to running total, that's not available as is and can't be done with overlay in QCharts to the best of my knowledge.

      Thanks for your reply Larry. That's a bit unfortunate that a product as sophisticated as qCharts, that a AD cummulative line cannot be drawn.

      As an alternative, for those interested, here is a free chart showing the NYSE Advance Decline Line:
