The eSignal KB shows the Shanghai Stock Exchange Symbol as: $000002-SHG - however, that symbol does not return charts.

Can anyone advise what symbol to use?

$000002-SHG is the correct ticker. It pulls data.

But you must have a subscription to the Shanghai Stock Exchange in your account in order to see this data.
I'm checking to see if this exchange is available to you to add to your account.
