Did anybody else experience a total data stoppage at 10:00 AM EDT today? I had my charts set to ES #F, as well as ThinkDesktop. I was watching the 5 min. chart on ThinkDesktop at 10:00 and when the ISM index announcement came out, I went to my 1 min. QCharts chart. I saw no movement, no change in volume on the 1 min. chart or any of my other charts. ThinkDesktop kept happily painting candles.
At around 10:04, I decided to restart QCharts. Just as I was about to close and restart, everything started painting again and caught up. I called tech. support and they said they had no reports of data lockups or slowdowns.
Since the Think or Swim feed kept working, I have to assume that the CME data feed was not the issue.
Having the eSignal feed glitch right at a critical trading time is not a happy feeling. Any suggestions on how this can be prevented in the future?
