I am concerned about the survival of QCharts since it is not included in the list of Products on the Interactive Data web site. When will it vanish completely? How much advance notice will we get?

QCharts and Interactive Data

Interactive Data has been our parent for a number of years but we just recently completed a re-branding exercise. The new brand will have no bearing on the QCharts or eSignal brands. With our new code for eSignal 11 in the works, we do hope to incorporate many of the benefits of the QCharts platform into the new code and that's where most of our future development will reside. Other than that, no specific plans to discontinue QCharts.
Thanks.

Scott,
Thanx for the info.
I hope QCharts has a long life as its flexibility is unsurpassed by
any program available today.
Its flexibility is not complete without its full capability in the
options department, ie:
Hot lists the way they were in V5 such as #Calls and #Puts as
well as the very useful sorting capabilities with 65-Day Average and
Vol@Ask, Vol@Bid, TickVol@Ask/Bid, Block Trades, Day Value,
Block Volume, Value@Ask/Bid, and a real working Tick that
is up to date after loading a new symbol into a quote sheet.
We're used to having this useful data and we were willing to
put up with their absence during the beta phase.
It's just the flip of a switch on your end, and is very much
needed on our end.
It would be nice to have a solid date signifying their return.
A timely response is appreciated.
