  • Breathalyzer Statistics on eSignal Network

Am I the only one who has noticed that the breathalyzer statistics on the eSignal network differ from those on the continuum servers? I won't take the time to post images, but anyone can set up the symbols in a quote sheet to validate the problem. I am using the eSignal network in 6.0.2 and the continuum network in 6.2.1.

I follow Adv/Decl Issues, Up/Dn/Total Volume, and Yearly Hi/Lo for both NYSE and Nasdaq. The data are quite different for the NYSE volumes, so unless the timing of the calculations is off by several minutes rather several seconds, I can't reconcile the differences.

    Would anyone care to elaborate?

From what I understand ARCX is not included in the .US and .NY groups as they are in Continuum.

We currently have a .AX symbol group being tested in the lab that are also associated with the .US group.

Per Project Management, they are planning on releasing them in the next few weeks.

Will there be a "unified" number for volumes in NYSE-listed stocks that combines the .AX and .NY groups? It would be nice for historical consistency as well as for consistency with other data feeds.

I checked with Project Management and the ARCX market statistics development has a lot to do with the heavy interest in ETF's.

There weren't any plans to create a combined NYSE+ARCX, but rather to focus on expanding to other markets like Canada, Europe, and Asia.
