Upgrade to 2143 failed...

Hi,

I just upgraded to 2143 and when starting QCharts I get the error msg:
"QCharts failed to initialize, pls re-install. Application will be closed".

I already did de-install, reboot the computer, re-installed, rebooted the computer... Nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas? Can I go back to a previous version? Where to download?

I am running Win7 Ultimate.

Pls help fast as I am blind now...

If this were mine - I'd try this:
1- Do a clean and scrub like this. This is different than a normal uninstall:

2- In the process of re-installation - I'd re-download the 2143 exe to make certain that I got a good download when I saved the exe to my hard drive. (I would not "Run" the executable straight from the QCharts download site - rather I'd download (save) it to my hard drive and run it from there).

3- Please pay particular attention to the Win7 details in the procedure in #1 above.

I just did what was recommended on your side, namely to run it in safe mode...

Works now.
