QLink leaks memory to the point that only way to regain the system control is to kill QLink from task mgr or if you let QLink run for a while then restart the system. I am beginning to question the engineering practices of QLink team. How can such a simple issue be not detected by test team of QLink?
Steps to replicate the problem
1. Start QLink & Excel
2. Request Bars from Excel QLink|Bars!'MSFT,1,10000,CDHLOTV,09:30-16:00'
3. Watch QLink memory utilization grow indefinitely
This happens during the market hours. Even if you close Excel, QLink memory utilization still keeps growing (It means QLink does not handle connection termination properly). Also the data stops updating itself.
