You may be approaching your symbol limit.
Each product license has a base symbol limit associated. For the majority of our programs, you can upgrade your symbol limit.

      oh i see

      i am on esignal premier

with viewing 200 symbols at a time

so is this not worked out as "unique" symbol total ?

im looking at 150 symbols max across the board

but maybe the same symbols in several different places

does using different excel workbooks effect this ?

It is refering to total symbols (not just the unique symbols)
Please check here for more information related to working with a symbol limit.

Also, I recommend shutting down data manager and the current excel worksheet, before opening a new linked spradsheet.

          hi
thanks for link to symbol usage information
i am able to tell that i have 138 sym count showing on esignal page.
this adds up the symbols used on excel spreadsheets as i open them.
so .. i only have 138 symbols open when freezing happens.
it is still a problem and i am within 200 symbol limit.

it seems to only happen when i have sheet with 100 symbol snapshot for 2 fields active.

it can bring down other sheets also but mostly just this 1 sheet snapshot stops updating.
