  • Getting Bollinger Band values into excel spread sheet

    Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way to get the bollinger band values into an excel spread sheet. The problem that I am having is that I am trying to get the close value for the last 20 one minute bars using Qlink but I can only get it to give the daily close information. Is it possible to do what I want?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

It is possible as you can see in the enclosed screenshot which shows the Request Bars dialog box used to retrieve the 1 minute data and [for comparison purpose] a chart of the same interval with Bollinger Bands. FWIW the equation in cell E2 is =AVERAGE(C2:C21)
    Hope this helps
    Alex

Thanks a lot, I can't believe I missed seeing that option when it was exactly what I was looking for.
