Is it possible to get data into excel every five seconds

I currently use Qlink to load data into excel every minute. It must be possible with some VBA skills to pull data every second or every five seconds...

Anyone have some advice on how I could go about doing this?

I don't know if this would help but with in Qlink you have to option of Tick Data which is about as close as you'll get to second data.
As far as bar data the smallest interval you would be able to go is 1 minute. Here is the QLink User Guide and under section 3.1.3 talks about Time and Sales (Tick Data).

Thank you. I do use the tick data and it works very well.

I want to update all this data for a basket of stocks every 5 seconds so that my computer is not overloaded.
