  • Win7 x64 / Office 2010 help please

When installing the new Qlink 3, the installer wants to install RTD services first. During this process, the cmd window opens and shuts too fast too read it and then there is an error message that it could not complete. The installer then goes on to install the Qlink publisher without further errors.

The issue is this: after this process, the add-in does not load into Excel. When I browse to manually add it in, there are two folders under Interactive Data: one is Qlink and one is RTD. There is no add-in in the Qlink folder. The add-in in the RTD folder, ESRTD, is not loaded by Excel - it says not a valid add-in.

I've tried installing it first, before eSignal 11 and after eSignal 11 but no joy.

    Any ideas will be welcome.

BTW, I have run Qlink 3 without any isuses on XP and Vista x32.

    casseldale,

Have you tried download the installed, then right clicking on it and selecting Run As Administrator? This is going be more important if you have User Account Control (UAC) turned on.
