Problems with Blackberry 7290

Whenever I try to log on I get a weird error message:

net.rim.device.cldc.io.waphttp.WAPIOException

NOBODY seems to know what this is. Can anyone here help?

I did some searching and it looks like this error may be tied to certain WAP settings. You may want to double check the settings or contact Blackberry support for further assistance.

I had the same problem with my Blackberry 7280. The only thing I found that worked was to uninstall the software and then reinstall it. But, obviously, that got old, so I eventually cancelled my Quotrek subscription. It's a shame that it came to that, but I just could never get it to work properly.

QuoTrek - Personal is for BlackBerry handhelds not connected to a corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server - BES and so far AT&T Wireless(US), Cingular(US), T-Mobile(US) and Vodafone(Spain) are currently the only carriers that have been tested and that are supported by QuoTrek - Personal. I have a 7280 and QuoTrek works on the BES and QuoTrek - Personal works too using the AT&T Wireless Gateway IP and APN settings. I'm sure someone in Customer Support could help you, contact Customer Support here
