  • Volume Study

I find it difficult to gauge volume on the volume study.

Most of the time only one volume number is visibile on the scale, sometimes that number is cut off at the bottom of the chart so that even one number can't be read.

For example on GOOG, weekly chart, the one volume number on the scale is 7.something (half cut off at the bottom). There are no other scale marks so it is impossible to estimate volume of the volume bars other than they are all more than 7.something.

On a five-minute chart scale marks are visible. (Not on a weekly or Daily.) Even on the five-minute chart only one number is visible and who know what the increments on the scale are, they are just marks.

Shouldn't there actually be scale marks and at least two volume number visibile so that volume could actually be estimated? Why have a volume study if you can't do this?

I am using an IPAQ 6315.

Mike, I understand what you are saying, the volume is very hard to read. We are going to make the scaling easier to read in one of our upcoming builds.
