  • Third-party studies & EFS

    Hi,

I am relatively new to this. I am considering trying/buying some third-party studies (e.g Jan Arps Crown Jewels etc). Before I do that, I would like to know a few things.

I wonder if these studies come along with a set of functions that are callable within EFS scripts, so that I can retrieve parameters/values from those studies and combine those with my own EFS studies in a later stage.

Thank you very much for any input on the subject.

    Regards!

    Hello wikk,

Generally they do not. You may want to contact the third-party directly to be sure. From the EFS side of things, we do have a function called efsExternal() that allows you to create data series in a custom EFS based on the return values of an external formula, which can be an encrypted file. As long as the external formula has return values that are being plotted by the study you can use this method. Hope this helps.
